Lemonade with Saffron

Ingredients for 4 servings

  • juice and zest of 8 lemons
  • 100g sugar
  • 6 saffron threads
  • 1000ml cold water
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 8 mint leaves

Method

Put the water, salt, sugar and the saffron to boil.
Next, remove the pot from the heat and allow the mixture to cool to room temperature.
Add the lemon juice and stir.
As soon as the liquid has cooled, add the lemon zest, and stir.
Add ice cubes, garnish with mint leaves, and serve.
